FAQ
-
Who is rahim jaffer?
Rahim Jaffer is a former Member of Parliament and long-time Edmonton resident with a track record of public service and principled leadership. He's running for Mayor to bring real change and fix the mess City Hall created.
-
What does “Back to Basics” mean?
It means fixing what’s broken — safer streets, lower taxes, smoother roads, better snow removal, and a City Hall that works for you, not against you. No more vanity projects. No more excuses.
-
How can I join Team Jaffer?
Sign up at votejaffer.ca/volunteer. We need boots on the ground to take back this city.
-
Why is Rahim running for Mayor?
Because City Hall has stopped listening. Edmonton is falling behind — broken roads, rising crime, out-of-control spending — all under the watch of career insiders and recycled councillors. Rahim is stepping up to bring Edmonton back to basics and put citizens first.
-
How is Rahim different from the other candidates?
He’s not part of the broken council clique. Unlike Cartmell, Knack, Walters, and Caterina — who all helped run the city into the ground — Rahim will bring fresh leadership, real accountability, and put taxpayers first.
-
How do I donate?
Visit votejaffer.ca/donate. Alberta residents can give up to $5,000. Every dollar helps us take the fight directly to City Hall.
-
-
Where does Rahim stand on bike lanes and transit?
He supports transit that works and roads that last — not more half-baked bike lanes and bloated mega-projects. Rahim has called for a moratorium on new bike lanes until roads, snow removal, and safety are dealt with first.
-
What’s the campaign’s message to voters?
Edmonton needs real change, not more of the same. It’s time to clean house, reset priorities, and elect leadership that works for all Edmontonians.
